Lowcountry Legal Volunteers

Lowcountry Legal Volunteers provides free, critical legal services and education through community volunteers and retired lawyers to low income individuals and families in Beaufort, Hampton, and Jasper counties.

We handle civil cases for low income clients (households at or below 150% of federal poverty level) who live or work in Beaufort, Jasper, or Hampton counties.

We serve in the following areas of law: adoption, child custody, visitation, and child support, divorce, name changes, simple consumer matters, eviction actions, lease termination, non-refund of security deposits, simple wills and probate.
